Director of Commercialization
Arlene joined UNM Rainforest Innovations as Marketing Operations Coordinator in June 2013. She was promoted to Director of Commercialization in 2019. She provides project management and support in the planning, development, and coordination of marketing endeavors that are directly related to UNMRI’s patent, trademark, and copyright portfolios to assure these important technologies are available to be licensed to and commercialized by third parties for the public benefit and the continuation of economic development. In addition, Arlene leads the partnership intermediary agreement (PIA) with the Air Force Research Laboratory as the AFRL PIA Project Manager. Arlene has a B.A. in Marketing and an M.B.A. in Information Assurance from the University of New Mexico’s Anderson School of Management.
